Utspring
Töm skåpen i god tid innan avslutningen.
Vill du få ut översatta betyg kontakta expeditionen senast 5/6. Maila eller fyll i en blankett på expeditionen. |

EYP Istanbul
The Kungsholmen team, Felicia, Roberta, Love, Leo and Phelan spent ten exciting days in Istanbul and at a resort near the Black Sea. We were one half of the Swedish delegation for the European Youth Parliament, together with a school from Gothenburg. 32 countries sent delegations varying in size from two to ten people. The Kungsholmen group was the youngest team there.
Most other delegates were from 17-19 years old, and a few were as old as 22. Nevertheless, our students stood out both in committee work writing resolutions and in the General Assembly.
Here they answered questions, came with constructive suggestions and made really good speeches in front of about 350 people. To quote one of the British teachers after a speech by one of our students: ’That was the best speech so far!’ |
We are really proud of the EYP team, and are also pleased that so many students took part in the school session, as well as helping out with the National Session at Kungsholmen.
Thank you everyone, students, staff, and management, for your support! |

This is the first year that regional sessions have been organized in Lund, |
Gothenburg and Stockholm. A total of 30 schools from all over Sweden took part.
Eighteen schools were selected to come to Stockholm to compete at the National Session held here at Kungsholmens Gymnasium and Landstingssalen on Kungsholmen.
It is therefore a great honour and achievement to have been chosen in face of very tough competition.
To quote the letter we received announcing the selection:
‘Through their outstanding performance they distinguished themselves amongst many other talented students and we are confident that they will represent EYP Sweden superbly, congratulations!’
The students have worked very hard these last weeks and we are sure they will be great representatives of both Kungsholmens Gymnasium and Sweden.
